    Some restaurants like to have their food speak for itself. Not Benihana. This fun Japanese teppanyaki restaurant believes in delighting guests not merely with plates of exquisite food, but also with thrilling cooking displays.

    Teppanyaki, the style of Japanese cooking on an iron plate, is the focal point of this restaurant, as guests are seated around a live cooking station where a chef skillfully slices and dices the ingredients with finesse and dexterity. Opt for a teppanyaki set, which comes with a side of soup, salad, shrimp appetiser, hibachi vegetables, and steamed rice. We can’t get enough of the tender New Zealand Lamb Cutlet and the Hokkaido Scallop. Or if you would prefer a little bit of everything, ask for the Benihana Special instead, comprising of Kobe rib eye, half a lobster, and abalone. Aside from teppanyaki, this popular eatery also creates marvellous sushi rolls like the Dragon Roll, featuring crab stick and avocado wrapped with eel and topped with almond, lemon zest, and a hint of teriyaki sauce.
