About
Inspired by the Taiwanese dialect phrase ‘Hanji’, which means ‘sweet potato’, this homely hotpot restaurant offers affordably-priced individual set meals so every diner enjoys a customised experience.

Each set comes with a choice of pork or beef, and the option to choose among four tantalising flavours — Classic, Spicy Mala, Mongolian Herbal, and Sesame & Beer. Swish the well-marbled strips of prime beef or tontoro pork neck in the mind-numbingly spicy mala broth, or be adventurous and try the creamy and slightly nutty sesame and beer broth. To accompany your hot pot feast are a selection of house-made dipping sauces. The sweet and spicy soy sauce are classic flavours, though Hanji has also come up with interesting combinations such as the Fruits Sauce which is tangy and sweet thanks to the infusion of berries.

All set meals also come with a bowl of mixed vegetables to cut through the rich meats, a small side dish, and a dessert. (July 2019)
