      La Dotta is the creation of Choti and Debby Leenutaphong, a husband & wife team behind il Fumo, 80/20, Vesper & 1919 Italian Bar & Restaurant. Tucked along the hip Thonglor 9, this beautiful pasta bar and store beckon you in with its iconic sky blue exterior. The menu is casual but enticing with its offering of starters, desserts and, of course, pasta.

      Here, the high-quality pasta takes center stage. Take your pick from their fresh pasta made daily from 100% natural Italian flour and duck eggs, or organic dried pasta flown in straight from Italy. At La Dotta, each pasta type is paired with meticulously chosen sauces to bring out the best flavors. The versatile fresh hand-rolled pasta partners well either with a more robust sauce such as the Tagliatelle Bolognese with 24-hours slow-cooked Wagyu beef shoulder & Parmigiano-Reggiano or a creamy one like the Tortellini 4 Formaggi filled with artisanal Italian cheeses in 24-months aged Parmigiano-Reggiano fondue. If you’re craving a comforting Carbonara, done with cured pork cheek, pecorino Romano, and organic egg yolk, opt for the organic Bucatini or Rigatoni.

      The starters at La Dotta are equally impressive: don’t miss Burrata salad, honey, balsamico, toasted almonds & baby spinach Indulgent desserts await at the end of the meal, such as the decadent Bomboloni - deep-fried Italian doughnuts filled with Chocolate Nutella - or creamy Italian gelato that comes in a refreshing lemon, pistachio, or vanilla.
