      About

Set right next to the glittering gem of a swimming pool, Charm Thai is as its name suggests — a charming restaurant dishing out some authentic and tasty local food. Phuket is known for its quality lobster, and you’ll find this prime crustacean on the menu where you can enjoy it stir-fried with cashew nuts, grilled over a thermidor, or even served in a mild red curry laced with a squeeze of kaffir lime. For a starter with a fun touch, try the Tod Man Pla, where fish dumplings are coated in a cornflake batter and deep-fried. The dumplings are juicy with a hint of sweetness, and the crispy crumb lends a satisfying crunch.

Local soups are also a mainstay on the menu here. Savour comforting broths like the Tom Kha Gai, a creamy coconut and lemongrass soup with chunks of chicken. For mains, sink your teeth into hearty dishes like Steak E San, a juicy slab of New Zealand sirloin char-grilled to perfection and drizzled with a spicy chilli sauce; or the Si Krong Moo Ob, pork spare ribs deep-fried and glazed with a sweet honey sauce.
