After much buzz, celebrity chef Alan Wong has opened his first restaurant in China on the second floor of the Portman Ritz Carlton. He's a pioneer in Hawaiian cuisine, and his first spot in Honolulu is infamously one of President Obama's go-to stops. Expect a superb meal heavy on the seafood, executed to perfection, and with some of the best service Shanghai has to offer. Highlights include twice cooked soy braised short ribs, shrimp and pork hash dumplings, and an outstanding coconut sorbet.
