The exposed brick, simple furniture and neutral walls sound Spartan on paper but actually work in Café Sambal’s favour, giving it a serene and classy vibe of its own. Tucked away at Jiashan Market, this is the place to come to for well-portioned Malaysian cuisine slightly peppered with other Southeast Asian influences. If you’re a fan of authentic curry, chicken satay, cold spring rolls, and the like, then definitely head down for a taste now.
