The culinary genius of Jason Atherton once again comes to life, this time at Table No. 1 in The Bund! A plethora of wood and black accents give the restaurant an elegant feel and the interiors are set up to encourage communal dining with rows of tables and chair set up side by side.
Only the best ingredients are used to create the modern European fare that come in sharing portions – although some might find it so tantalising that they’re more than happy to have a portion all to themselves. Not that we blame you! Plancha Seabass with Grilled Romesco, Artichokes & Mizuna, Grilled Ranger Valley Wagyu Sirloing with Confit Shallots & Montpellier Butter, Crispy Pig Ear Fries with Shaved Cauliflower & Shichimi Chili…everything sounds divine.
Dining at Table No. 1 is no stuffy affair and indeed, you might be glad for the communal vibe because the beautiful plates and amazing flavours will have you eager to share the experience with someone! (Feb 2016)
