    About

    This place isn’t called Cielo for nothing: a sky bar and restaurant, this is probably as close you can get to the sky without hopping on a flying vehicle. Needless to say, this is where you want to go for some stunning views of the city, coupled with a laid back atmosphere, punchy drinks, and a selection of swish modern European and funky Thai plates. The skywalk here is a glass walkway that cuts through the restaurant and gives you the illusion of hovering above the city, though if that’s a bit too nerve-wracking for you, we say: settle down and eat!

    Dig into a comforting Spaghetti Carbonara or the Roasted Duck with Fresh Orange Thyme Sauce for a little mile-high comfort food. Or go all out and get the Grilled Australian Ribeye Steak to really seal in some luxury in the sky. For spice lovers, there’s a selection of Thai flavours featuring innovative takes on the classics like Red Curry Roasted Duck, a sous vide duck leg in a red curry sauce, and a comforting Soft Shell Crab Rice Noodle, slippery strands of glass noodles drenched in loads of crab flavour and topped with crunchy soft shell crab. Pair all that with a fruity cocktail from the list of signature tipples, and settle down to that gorgeous bird’s eye view. (April 2018)
