    About

It’s hard to fight for prominence in an area like Sathorn, known as an endless strip of European restaurants and unique cafes. However, this cosy Italian spot has made a name for itself in less than a year of its opening. Di Farina means “from flour” and is, unsurprisingly, indicative of what most of the dishes on the menu are made of. Inspired by this simple concept, the local chef took up an intense course in pizza-making in Florence before setting up his own restaurant.

One of the must-try dishes here that is not served atop a crust is the Pappa Al Pomodoro, a tomato soup flavoured with Italian herbs to give it a rich, tangy flavour. This dish awakens your tastebuds for the medley of flavours to follow.

Tuck into the Di Farina pizza which is comprises Italian sausage, crisp capsicum, and fresh mozzarella. This dish has everything - spice from the capsicum, rich eathiness from the sausage and sharp mozzarella. Not in the mood for pizza? Try the Pappardelle Al Pesto With Basil And Peanut. An earthy pesto blend served with crisp and sweet peanuts makes for a unique, delicious combination. Complete the meal with a sweet treat - we hear the Tiramisu here is probably the best in Bangkok! The buzz

Amidst Florentine decor, you can take a front-row seat at the open pizza-making station, where upscale Italian flavors are given a Thai-twist by the head chef and owner, Piyanut. - BK Magazine
