      It is the brainchild of The Wine Merchant Co. in collaboration with Chef Alessandro Frau of legendary Acqua Restaurant in Phuket.

      Our credos are simple: unpretentious cuisine, effortless service and distinctive wines at affordable prices.

      You may look at the wine list with a flicker of dismay… “really, so many?!”, but peer deeper and know that your dream wine lies within those pages. The adjacent bunkered cellar is both convivial and functional and replete with awe-inspiring classics as well as underground cult anomalies.

      Not being swayed by fashion, the cuisine reflects Chef Alessandro’s passion for “elegant rusticity”. Both ancestral and modern techniques are employed and the quality of the ingredient always takes center stage. Executing these exacting standards is Chef Nino Scognamillo, a Sicilian native who cut his teeth in some of London’s top kitchens.

      The design embodies a warm familial setting while each tactile detail arouses the senses –a sprawling wine bar, handmade Zalto glassware, vintage décor, forged iron flatware, intimate indoor seating and blissful al fresco dining are but some of La Casa Nostra’s virtues.
