    About

Knock yourself out on the luxurious spread of pan-Vietnamese fare at Le Danang, which takes great pains to make its food as authentic and delicious as possible. Featuring a selection of traditional Vietnamese favourites and some French-influenced dishes, you definitely won’t have leave the country (or even the city) to get a delightful taste of Vietnam!

Sink your teeth into a serving of Tôm Bao Bánh Tráng where tasty, deep-fried minced prawn filling is encased in rice paper wrapping. Slightly savoury but not too heavy, it’s easy to see why this is a signature dish. Another must-try is the Phở “Hà Nội”, a nourishing, traditional rice noodle soup with chicken or beef and a dash of lime for that added zesty flavour. You’ll be hard-pressed to stop once you’ve tried your first spoonful! And do give the Cua Bấy Chiên Bơ Tỏi a go – the addition of salt, butter, and some spices serves to enhance the crunchy pieces of soft shell crab to the point of sheer addictiveness. Finally, end your meal on a high note with the Bánh Tráng Kem Gừng, where Crêpe Suzette is expertly flambéed with Grand Marnier and served with ginger ice-cream for that unusual twist. Tasty but not overly heavy, authentic and oh-so-good, that just about sums up a meal at Le Danang, really. (July 2017)

    The buzz

“To start, order refreshing avocado salad with crab meat, mango and tomato. This delicate blend of aroma and flavour will awaken your senses. As a main course, do not miss out on grilled snow fish in its mouth-watering tamarind sauce, with fried rice on the side.” -Thailand Tatler
