    About

Housed in a converted warehouse where rustic touches like flecked paint and iron accents showcase the expansive space and high ceilings to their best advantage, architect Duangrit Bunnag has managed to create a warm and cozy area for diners. You’ll love that the whimsical name of The Never Ending Summer evokes impressions of halcyon days and hazy nostalgia, a theme that is reflected in the food and culinary philosophy of the restaurant.

The idea is to recreate the types of dishes that Duangrit and his partner, Naree Boonyakiat, enjoyed during their youths. To do this, Executive Chef Yeast takes inspiration from ancient recipes that can be traced back to the royal family and puts a modern interpretation on the dishes. The result? Par for course Thai dishes served alongside rare offerings like shrimp paste sweet relish served with sweet pork, salted egg yolk & fluffy catfish flakes, cold watermelon served with dried fish flakes, and braise pork belly with boiled duck eggs. For those looking for a more exotic take on traditional Thai cuisine, make it a point to head down to The Never Ending Summer for difficult-to-find treats. (December 2015)

    The buzz

“Just like the contemporary and creative interior design of the place (it’s set in a converted warehouse), each dish is presented beautifully to make the dining experience that little bit more memorable.” -Bangkok.com
