      About

Located in one of Bangkok’s busiest malls, Wang Jia Sha serves up fancy plates to hungry shoppers all year round. The veteran of China’s vibrant dining scene is known for their pan-fried buns and green rice balls, among various other delicacies. Wang Jia Sha was even lauded by the Intangible Cultural Heritage List for their signature dim sum-making techniques.

Their authentic fare has gained a loyal following since the early 1950s, and is set to take Southeast Asia by storm with their opening in Bangkok. Veering away from their traditional menu of street food snacks, the menu at Wang Jia Sha Bangkok focuses on more exquisite ingredients such as abalone and shark’s fin.

You can’t go wrong with one of their classic dim sum recipes. The Xiao Long Bao comes with a rich crabmeat filling and a delicious stew that you’ll want to slurp up. The Steamed Custard Lava Bun is another hot favourite. Popular on Instagram for their oozing golden delights, these fluffy balls of heaven are the perfect pick-me-up on a cold day. For something a little moreish, opt for the Yang Zhao Fried Rice. Made with a generous portion of char siu along with regular fried rice ingredients, expect a rich, flavourful, and delicious dish.
