      About

Looking to treat that special someone in your life to a magical night out? Well planning a remarkable dinner or romantic night out just got a little easier with Banyan Tree Bangkok and their breathtaking star-lit dinner cruise restaurant, Apsara.

An elegant and intimate journey through the Chao Phraya River’s bustling waterways on a stunning vintage-styled rice barge, Apsara conjures up gourmet dining with a revolving set menu that celebrates the vibrancy of royal Thai heritage. With dishes like the Spicy Grilled River Prawns Salad and the Southern Thai Style Braised Beef Curry being served, you'll definitely be torn between focusing on the impressive view, or the even more impressive food. The detailed presentation of each and every dish is amazing, and with a backdrop that includes the Grand Palace and Temple of the Dawn, the entire experience makes for an instagram-worthy evening your special someone will be swooning over for years to come! The buzz

“Run by Banyan Tree Hotel, the luxury of the Apsara makes for an extra-special night out. Coming to rest in front of the famous sights, passengers are treated to a tasty Thai dinner whilst [they] enjoy the view. The rice-barge takes an hour and 45 minutes to complete the tour, travelling past Wat Arun (Temple of the Dawn) and the Grand Palace to the golden Rama VIII Bridge. This trip on the water takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city to enjoy Bangkok by night and some delicious gourmet dishes. It truly is a magical and romantic evening.” -Bangkok.com
