      This small establishment tucked away in Ekamai Complex may take a little search to hunt down, but we promise it’s worth every second. Having opened its doors recently, it has already gained a small but cult following. The cosy hideout’s claim to fame? Its gorgeous pizza base made with imported Italian flour and proofed for 72 hours. This long maturation process makes the crust super digestible and fluffy, so what you get is thick crusts that are crisp on the outside, warm and soft on the inside - the perfect pizza crust if you ask us!

      The menu is divided into three sections: Contemporary, Traditional, and Specialty. For the first-timer, we suggest sticking to timeless classics such as the Margherita as well as the house signature and an absolute must-try, the Délices de Capoue from the Contemporary section. The humble Margherita perfectly showcases the quality ingredients used, from the delicious tomato base, the fresh mozzarella, to the flour behind the simply irresistible pizza crust. As for the much raved about Délices de Capoue, we absolutely adore the perfectly striked balance between the rich parmigiano reggiano, the homemade pesto, and the tangy balsamic cream. The result is a smorgasbord creation that may truly be a slice of heaven.

      As for the seasoned guest, he or she should venture into creations such as the locally inspired Panang Kai and the mouthwatering Caprunale, where a cream-based pizza is topped with generous portions of mozzarella, goat cheese, honey, and nuts. There’s nothing more to be said; for pizza that would make any Italian proud, there’s no better place than Délices de Capoue! (July 2018)
