      About

Designed as an homage to the former Erawan Hotel, the Erawan Tea Room combines laid-back elegance with impeccable Thai cuisine. Between the plush seats and panoramic views, this restaurant makes the perfect spot to laze the afternoon away. Only until their All You Can Eat Menu at 6pm at least, because then it’s time to lose yourself in some Thai culinary goodness.

All the classic Thai dishes that even foreigners would know are on the extensive menu, such as the fragrant deep-fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaves, or steamed pork rice crepes with peanuts. Tom Yum Kha and Tom Ka Gai both feature as well, and are well deserving of their status as signature dishes. Overall, the Tea Room offers a comfortable environment to experience a broad range of Thai cuisine. (November 2015)

      The buzz

"Despite being part of the high-society frequented Erawan Bangkok, home to Club 21 that brings Marc Jacobs and Christian Louboutin to the Thai elite, the Erawan Tearoom has a laidback vibe and caters to both tea drinkers and Thai food lovers." -CNN Travel

"The oversized chairs, panoramic windows and variety of hot drinks make this one of Bangkok’s best places to catch up with the paper. The lengthy menu of Thai standards will likely encourage you to linger longer, and the selection of jams and teas to take away allows you to re-create the experience at home." -Lonely Planet

"Good food (all the recognizable favorites), Asian ambiance (a little Thai silk and a lot of air-con) and friendly service are some of the virtues of this cute eatery in the very swanky Grand Hyatt Erawan. More than just a tea room, they also have delicious main courses worth trying. The comfy seats, tranquil atmosphere and free board games are just a few of the details that make this tea room stand apart from others." -BK Magazine
