    For some exquisite Indian cuisine without all the fuss, look no further Kebabs & Kurries, a no frills restaurant nestled right in the heart of Sukhumvit that knows how to serve up a mean curry and unbelievably tender grilled meats. Dishes here honour the Mughal culinary tradition, famed for its delicate flavours and elaborate spices, albeit with a modern twist. Curries such as the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Rogan Josh should not be missed and are best accompanied with a fluffy naan bread to scoop up all that goodness. For some grilled goodness, the Kebab Platter is perfect for all of us who can’t decide - and who can blame us, really? Particularly noteworthy in the tandoori section is the Tandoori Prawns, where fresh and succulent prawns are soaked in an irresistible, mildly spicy marinade before they are grilled gently in the tandoor to retain their bite. Finally, don’t forget to sink your teeth into more inventive creations such as the Atta Chicken, which is perhaps best described as an Indian wellington: a half bone-in chicken is marinated in tandoori masala, encased in dough, and baked. The result is a deliciously light pastry and juicy chicken chunks that go amazingly well together. (September 2018)
