      About

Ever wanted to watch your food being made right in front of you? At Kuon no tsuki, you can. This swish Japanese restaurant in Bangkok is founded based on the Kuon Omakase concept, which means that diners entrust the preparation of their entire meal to the chef. This cosy spot seats less than thirty people around the preparation area, which means that every guest will get a front-row seat to watch their food being prepared.

The kitchen is helmed by trained chefs Shintaro Narisawa and Tsuneo Saito, who cut their teeth working at some of the finest Michelin-star eateries around the world, so diners can rest assured that they will be in good hands. The menu here varies by seasonality, and is influenced by the chef’s creativity, so no two visits will be the same. However, much of the inspiration for the dishes comes from seafood and traditional Japanese cuisine. (May 2019)
