    Just outside Bangkok's main shopping district sits Love Me Tender - à la plancha - a Provençal-style bistro that exudes all the charms of Southern France. With its brick walls, tiled roof, wooden furniture, and cobbled garden, the restaurant promises a French culinary escape.

    The food doesn't disappoint. Hearty casseroles, stews and mains cooked in cast iron skillets capture the essence of French cuisine. Start off with the creamy Lobster Bisque that combines flavours of the ocean with cream and a dash of brandy. For mains, seafood lovers should try the Bouillabaisse, a rich stew chock-full of clams, shrimp, squid, fish, and more, while those who prefer red meat will enjoy the Duck Confit or Surf & Turf.

    Leave room for dessert — you wouldn't want to miss the Crème Brûlée, a rich and velvety custard topped by a burnt sugar shell. The Apple Tarte Tatin is equally decadent, with the warm apple pastry contrasting perfectly with vanilla ice cream.
