    About

Located in the bustling ICONSIAM in Bangkok, this iteration of the legendary Otaru Mazasushi is the first overseas venture of the famed Hokkaido sushi restaurant. All ingredients are handpicked and flown in from Hokkaido four times a week so diners can rest assured of the quality of ingredients used. With a kitchen helmed by a Otaru native who has lived and breathed sushi since birth, it’s the closest you can get to Hokkaido without getting on a plane.

There is no menu here. Instead, the chef decides what to prepare for diners in a Japanese dining style known as omakase. There is a small Mini Omakase for diners looking to get a taste of what the restaurant has to offer, as well as the Omakase - all the works for veteran diners who know exactly what they’re in for. From Ahi to Ikura to Tamago, there’s bound to be something here for everyone. (April 2019)
