    Housed within the swish Peninsula Hotel, this spot offers stunning views of the Chao Phraya River. Lauded by the Michelin Plate, this restaurant is the standard for upscale Chinese fare in Bangkok. Take a break from Thai dishes for the milder, lighter palate offered by the Chinese. Sink your teeth into one of the delicate dim sum plates or sip on one of their light soups for a quick midday pick-me-up.

    Sip on the Hot and Sour Conpoy, a rich soup of tofu, spices, and fish maw that makes for a refreshing pre-meal pick me up. The spicy, bright, and flavourful Tenderloin Beef with Pepper Paste is the perfect accompaniment to a side of steamed white rice. Seafood lovers can indulge in Har Gao — crystal-skinned dumplings filled with tiger prawn. End the meal on a sweet note with Mango Pudding, a light dessert served in a teacup.
