    About

Known as Japan’s best ramen restaurant, this Bangkok outpost of Menya Itto specializes in their signature ramen, Tsukemen. These cold noodles come with a hot, dipping soup made of chicken and seafood — and not just any chicken or seafood. The Tsukemen Soup is made from free-range, organic chicken which has been fed organically in Khao Yai. A variety of dried Japanese seafood, known as Fushi, is added, along with crustaceans and shellfish. This slow cooking process results in concentrated umami goodness that bursts with flavor in each mouthful.

Their noodles are also special. Made in-house with a Japanese flour blend that’s exclusive to the restaurant, the noodles are boiled before they’re submerged in ice to create a texture that’s chewy and bouncy. Their premium Beef Shio Ramen is extremely popular, with Australian grass-fed beef as the star of the show. (January 2020)
