Neil’s Tavern in Bangkok has been around for nearly 40 years, and there’s good reason why.

There’s a certain old-school charm that comes from the warm service, cosy atmosphere and good, old-fashioned meats. The dark wood and red brick interiors and warm lighting set the mood for an intimate dinner with a date or good friends. The staff are attentive, making sure everyone is served drinks and that food orders are served promptly.

At Neil’s Tavern, you’ll find all the steakhouse classics on the menu. The shrimp cocktail is a delicious mix of plump, juicy shrimp dressed in a creamy sauce. And the wide variety of soups include a thick and rich crab chowder that is chock-full of meaty chunks, with a hint of balsamic vinaigrette to balance it out.

Then, you get to the meats and seafood. The steaks here are the star of the show. From the prime rib to the massive porterhouse and T-bone steaks, there’s no lack of options to choose from! Large juicy king prawns, smoked cod and soft shell crabs are delicacies from the ocean that are a great add on if you’re looking for a Surf and Turf dinner. (August 2018)
