Pho Van invites you to discover some of the finest selections of authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine, with their speciality lying in the iconic noodle dish. The birth of pho stems from the long Vietnamese history of war, and is today recognized as the national dish of Vietnam.

The industrial-style eatery sports minimal decor to replicate the vibes of traditional pho stalls in Hanoi, with the exception of a number of war relics as an ode to the origin of pho.

Taking pride in replicating and preserving the original Pho Bac (Pho of the North) after seven years of research, the folks here patiently simmer the broth for 18 hours to achieve the rich, complex flavours pho is known for. An impressive 95cm tall pot works non-stop in the kitchen to ensure there is always enough broth for the next day.

Besides pho, they also offer a wide array of authentic Vietnamese dishes like Banh Mi, shrimp rice paper rolls, and charcoal-grilled meats. End your meal on a sweet note with the popular egg coffee, a glass of strong Vietnamese coffee topped with creamy egg custard. (November 2019)
