    Sitting pretty right by the river, Supatra River House offers one of the best views of Bangkok’s Chao Phraya. Hop on the free shuttle boat service from Tha Maharaj over to the restaurant’s private pier, and wander in at lunch — the perfect time to take in the beautiful view, over a traditional Thai lunch. Start the meal with an interesting combination of Salmon Satay with a sweet peanut sauce and cucumbers dipped in a tangy vinegar. For those who can take the heat, go for the Sweet and Sour Namprik Long Ruer, where extra spicy Thai chilli paste is tossed in a wok with a caramelised, sticky pork. But if you prefer your food mild, the Larb Salad with Five-Spiced Duck Confit is a tasty dish thanks to the generous use of spices on the shredded duck meat. Wash it all down with the refreshing juices and cocktails shaken up here. (January 2019)
