You may have noticed some changes around here... There have been some improvements at K-Hotel and as we cast our eyes towards the future, we wanted to let you know what we’ve been working on.

As one of the original hotels in Patong, K-Hotel has seen the area shift from a sleepy tropical beachside resort to a thriving tourism and entertainment centre. Throughout it all, K-Hotel has remained an unchanged fixture in the midst of this development and as we approach 2020, we’re making some improvements to enhance the guest experience and welcome the hotel into the next century.

Change can be difficult but in the hyper-competitive world of hotels, it is necessary in order to stay relevant. Those that don’t adapt perish. With a change in circumstances, we’ve taken the opportunity to make some adjustments, but as always, maintain the same core essence of what has made K-Hotel such a special place since 1984. Our hotel is still proudly family-owned and we are continuing this tradition, just with a few new tweaks.

In order to reflect these changes and our new direction, we’re changing our name to HANGOUT by KLY Phuket.

We’re improving the overall dining experience, changing the position of the restaurant to the front of the property to reflect the vibrancy of the area and allow for more walk-in guests to experience the cuisine. The new restaurant name will be called LOKAL and our motto of EAT - SIP - SHARE couldn’t be more appropriate. We’ve kept much of the same food you know and love and brought in a fabulous new chef to offer even more options.

We will keep the same relaxed and familiar atmosphere that we’ve been proud to cultivate. At our heart, we are still an Austrian hotel & restaurant– we still have German-speaking staff, German/Austrian food. The same lush and leafy green atmosphere is not going anywhere. It will still be a tropical paradise.
