      About

Along a quiet street in Kathu just 10 minutes drive from Patong is this cosy brasserie offering everything from Swedish meatballs and English Sunday roasts, to classic Thai dishes and French chicken liver pate. The jazz music in the background sets the mood for a good time, and the extensive menu will leave you spoilt for choice. Start with the Gambas ‘Pil Pil’, where fresh prawns are seared in a heady concoction of olive oil, laced with plenty of chilli and garlic. If you’re an IKEA fan, then you can’t miss out on the Swedish meatballs, topped with gravy and lingonberries. Feel like a classic Thai dish? The Pad Kee Mao Spaghetti comes with a secret ingredient — Thai whisky, that adds a real kick to the hearty portion of stir-fried prawns and squid with pasta. End the night with a game at the pool table next to the bar. (Oct 2018)
