    About

The idea of halal dim sum may be surprising to some, because really, what is dim sum without the iconic char siew bun or xiao long bao? However, The Dim Sum Place might just change your mind, with its mouth-watering array of Cantonese snacks with a local twist. In fact, with the eatery being flooded with customers every night, we dare say it's been given the Singaporean stamp of approval.

The menu features an impressive variety of dishes, including steamed, baked, and fried dim sum, noodles, seafood, and roasted meats. Their rendition of the char siew bun is a crowd favourite, with tender braised duck slathered in the same sweet and savoury sauce we all know and love. Other must-try items are the Salted Egg Custard Bun, Vermicelli Roll with Roasted Duck Cha Shu and Herbal Duck.

Make sure to leave room for dessert too. From comforting yam paste to indulgent honeycomb cakes, you wouldn't want to sit this one out.

Oh and did we mention it opens till 5am on Fridays and Saturdays? It’s definitely the perfect spot for late-night feasting with your besties. (Nov 2019)
