    About

    With a legacy dating back to 1958, and a recipe perfected over a decade, it’s no wonder that the fishball noodles here are said to be some of the best in Singapore. Helmed by ‘hawkerpreneur’ Gilbert Lim, who inherited the original recipe from his father, this spot has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a stall at Maxwell Road Market. With an airy al fresco dining area and a simple setup, the layout here harkens back to the hawker centres of old.

    The star of the menu is obviously the Fishball Noodles, which are bathed in a soup that is the perfect balance of sweet and savoury. The chilli is cooked for six hours, and is flavoured with shallots and pork lard made fresh daily. Even the fishballs and minced pork are quality-ensured by sourcing from top quality suppliers. The noodles are tender and chewy, and soak up the delicious soup for an explosion of flavour with every bite.

    For some light bites, opt for the Marinated Wings - crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, it’s the perfect accompaniment to the noodles. Craving for more of the bouncy fishballs?
