    Learning Cassia is located near the southernmost point of continental Asia probably evokes images of beach-goers with cocktail glasses basking in the sun, sand and sea. Cassia surprises diners by offering a gorgeous view overlooking Sentosa, with the sprawling cityscape an impressive backdrop. Definitely considering dining outdoors, it's surprisingly cool in our tropical climate! That is probably kudos to the lush greenery on the island, which makes a trip to Capella feel like a trip out of Singapore.

    Cassia is as much a feast for the eyes as much as it is for your belly. Admire the colonial architecture of Capella Hotel while sampling their must-try dim sum like the Steamed Barbecued US Kurobuta Pork Bun, or the Hong Kong-style Peking Duck. Recipes are based upon traditional, regional cooking and blended with haute Cantonese technique. The chic décor of the restaurant compliments beautifully with (and definitely brings out the best in) the haute yet classic cuisine Cassia serves so well. (Jun 2012)
