Opened by the group behind the Quaich bars, and helmed by Matthew Fergusson-Stewart, this is a fun place to try whisky beyond the usual neat or on the rocks. A carafe of an interesting whisky is good to share between two to three friends, or you might prefer your cask-aged brew shaken and stirred into excellent cocktails. Classic highballs with delish garnishes are easy long serves that are easy to quaff with food. You’ll also find the amber liquid infused in dipping sauces, or as the base for the seafood dishes that are the star of the menu here. Think seafood soup noodles, smoky grilled squid, or mixed seafood with a creamy mentaiko cheese sauce.
