    About

    Frieda, named after the daughter of the Kempinski brand founder Berthold Kempinski, is a casual dining German restaurant that knows how to entertain.

    On one side is the Daybar and Frieda Garden, a relaxing botanical dining area complete with palm trees. This bright garden venue beneath the glass atrium is ideal for lunch with a friend, complete with refreshing wine or German beer on tap. But Frieda really turns on the charm come 5pm with its daily selection of Happy Hour offers. Frieda Restaurant, on the other side of the walkway, is a cosy dining space for German fare just as you would have it at home.

    You can’t go wrong with the crispy Pork Knuckle, succulent Veal Schnitzel or the deliciously savoury Pretzel Dumplings. It’s all so sinfully decadent, and even though you know you shouldn’t, you will be glad you did. (Nov 2019)
