    Previously a beloved feature of Changi Beach Club, this restaurant has now opened its doors to the public in East Coast Park, and boy are we glad they did. One of the longest-running Chinese seafood restaurants in Singapore, this restaurant serves up Cantonese and Teochew classics made with the freshest ingredients.

    Start with the Crispy Fish Skin with Salted Egg and Chicken Floss - the crunch of the fish skin is offset by the pillowy softness of the chicken floss, and makes for an excellent combination of textures. The brine of the salted egg also goes well with the mild sweetness of the chicken floss, making this perfect to whet your appetite for later dishes. Diners can order their choice of fish - Grouper or Soon Hock - and have it cooked in their preferred style. The Chilli Crab is also a must-try here. The richness of the sauce combined with the juiciness of the meat make for a mouthwatering pairing best enjoyed with a bowl of steamed rice.

    Seafood isn’t the only thing this restaurant does well though, as they are also renowned for their Peking Duck. The crispness of the skin and the earthy flavour of the meat is sure to be a winner in anyone’s book. (Dec 2018)
