      About

Featuring Kappo-style cuisine by chef Kazunobu Oishi, each and every dish at Kappo Kazunobu has been designed and developed from the skills and creativity of the experienced chef. With more than 26 years of culinary experience, Chef Oishi brings his expert cooking skills, honed from working in five-star hotels and Michelin Starred restaurants, to the kitchen at Kappo Kazunobo.

Always on the hunt for the best ingredients and cooking methods, the restaurant seeks to represent Japanese Refined Dining by formulating a wonderful dining experience for customers. The menu incorporates a variety of fried, slow cooked, steamed and boiled dishes, affording diners with the opportunity to taste new menus that offer more diversity beyond sushi and sashimi options.

Signature dishes here are the Yaki Goma Tofu and the Otoro Steak. The former is a silky homemade tofu dressed with chef Oishi’s secret sauce, while the latter is a fresh and succulent piece of tuna steak, grilled to perfection. Another noteworthy dish is the Uni Inaniwa Udon. A warm bowl of noodles, this dish is topped generously with Uni and has an extremely rich broth that is flavourful yet light. (Oct 2020)
